Good afternoon,
I could not let another day go by with thanking you for pulling together a wonderful anniversary celebration for our church on Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious and service was phenomenal. Even the buffet line, which is always tricky, was executed efficiently. Everyone that I came in contact with was willing to go above and beyond to assure that we had a superb experience.
For example, my 7-year-old son is a very picky eater. When we got in line for the buffet, I told him that he was going to have to try new things. He wasn’t terribly happy about that. When I saw the penne a la vodka, I told him that he could get some of that because it was similar to macaroni and cheese or pasta and sauce. He scrunched up his nose and said that he would rather have Kraft macaroni and cheese. Maille heard him and said that he would see what he could do about finding him something in the kitchen. A few minutes later, he delivered a special bowl of macaroni and cheese to my son’s table. My son felt like a king and ate all of his macaroni.
Being in the hospitality business (albeit on the development side), I know what it’s like to deliver exceptional results to your customers. Customers are loyal to great service. If they feel special, they will come back. I hope that you will share this with your staff as they should know that they were part of what made this a great experience.
Thank you for the experience that you gave us on Sunday. I’m sure that we will be back!
I have attended our church anniversary luncheon at the Holiday Inn over the years. We are usually very pleased with the service.
However, our 113th year anniversary luncheon on Sunday September 16, was an exception and I hesitate not to make my opinion be known to the management of the Holiday Inn.
Thank you for making a great choice when you hired the new banquet manger Maille.
The service was exceptional... the food was so delicious- I think many at my table committed a sin by eating too much. The efficiency at the buffet line. The centerpiece I could go on and on but time won't allow me. Did you hire a new chef too.. wow!! The ribs were finger licking - out of this world good...
This note is to say thank you and thanks to Maille for being so pleasant especially when the water spilled at our table and making a difference - very noticeable and appreciated.
Could you pass this message on to Mali ? ( Am I spelling his name correctly?)
Got a call from him last week about the wedding cake. Sorry I just realized I forgot to call him back.
I live in the city and am not up in Westchester very often, but NEXT SUNDAY I could stop by the hotel in the afternoon. (If there is still any remaining cake from our wedding, that is....)
If Sunday is not convenient for your staff, however, I am sure my father could stop by another day.
Again , Patty and I and all our guests were very very pleased with the way the wedding was pulled off so expertly and seamlessly, all around-- the place looked beautiful, the food was great, the service was great....We would wholeheartedly recommend the Holiday Inn Mount Kisco to others seeking a wedding venue.
